About
My name is Patrick Erb and I am an enthusiastic landscape photographer from Germany. I spend a lot of time in nature and try to appreciate the magnificence and beauty of the world by capturing different landscapes.
What fascinates me about photography is the possibility of going beyond the pure documentation of what you see. Where the interpretation begins in the mind, so does the photography...
My pictures can be described as landscape photography, even if there are abstract scenes and other influences in my work.
Many of the pictures shown on this website are made in europe and the canary islands, which are located in europe, too, but are influenced from the climate and weather conditions of africa. Subjects from Germany come mainly from the woodlands of the low mountain ranges, from "allgäu" and the "saxon switzerland". On the canary islands I mainly travelled to the islands of La Gomera and La Palma.
